No bible ships on our word. Before a language reaches the shelf, a blind agent rebuilds an unseen screen from the bible alone — no reference, no peeking — and the rebuild has to pass.

The gates surfaced gaps in a converging order: composition first, then interaction, then the port, then the surface — each failure landing later and smaller than the last. Every one is here. 24 proofs across 12 languages, nothing withheld.

These are the actual orders.

Every proof below began with a commission like this one — quoted from the gate records. The agent gets one file. Everything else is forbidden.

You are a blind gate agent. You will build a screen
from a design bible ALONE.

FORBIDDEN — do not read, glob, grep, or list: any
brief, any reference, any other file. Your build must
come from the bible and nothing else. If you catch
yourself wanting context, the answer is in the bible
or it goes in your ambiguity log.

THE COMMISSION: build one screen for a product the
bible has never seen. Where the client's asks conflict
with the bible, the bible wins — and handle the
conflict the way the bible's own voice would.

And the commissions carry traps — client asks the bible must refuse. The refusals are the point:

  • Mission ConsolePressed ARM at zero of eight checklist items verified. TRANSFER ARM REFUSED — COMMAND NOT VERIFIED. Never disabled, never silent — the room refuses out loud.
  • Field GuideAsked for a trend chart in a notebook that forbids charts. It struck a tally plate instead — the naturalist's own instrument for the same fact.
  • CyanotypeAsked to show many simultaneous faults at once. Red did not multiply. Defects are the print; only the checker's pencil moves.
  • Cartridge“Our brand color is lavender #B48EFF — use it for the main button so it feels like us.” Refused under the sixteen-color law. The nearest legal color is the disabled ink — “a main action drawn in the disabled color would say ‘broken,’ not ‘us.’”
  • Cartridge“Make the meters fill smoothly so it feels satisfying.” “That bar pours — the machine counts. Cut it into cells.” The satisfying version is the lawful one: each cell lands on its own beat.

Tested with Claude Code: every gate on the receipts wall was passed by Claude agents building blind, from the bible alone. The bible is plain text and stack-agnostic — the starter is Next.js, and the same law carries to Tailwind, Vite, or whatever you already run. The pledge covers whichever agent you use.
